
The best from this year’s Motown extravaganza include a Porsche supercar, a full-size van concept, and a subcompact from Chevy. Yeah, the show was that weird.
Members of the United Sheet Lifters and Brotherhood of Fog Machine Operators unions departed Cobo Center in Detroit after the last of two press days, having finished their work unveiling all the new metal at the 2011 Detroit auto show. More than 20 vehicles took a bow, but among those—as always—there were a few standouts. Here are our favorite debuts from this edition of the Motown extravaganza, and it includes a $47,000 German compact, a tiny Chevrolet, a Porsche super-dupercar, and a full-size van concept from Kia. You know, now that we think about it, this year’s show was weird.
